YAOSM
Eine neue Firmware des Yet Another Open Source Modchips bringt diverse Fixes mit sich. Weiterhin wurde der komplette Code neu geschrieben.
Bell the author of YAOSM (Yet Another Open Source Modchip) has been hard at work on his v3.0 series. He’s rewritten the entire code for the chip and has added DVD Upgrade support along with a fail safe routine.
The old yaosm is no more. Most of the code has been rewritten as drivecode and for the end user it will look and work almost identical to yaosm 2.0 but under the surface things look very different.
The modchip is still in it’s beta phase, but seems to be working properly. Bell has just released beta 3 of the code which includes the following changes.Update 2008-02-08 * beta 3
* Hexfiles also for 16F87/88.
* Autoboot is gone… propably for good.
* Alternate speed is back.
* It will most likely NOT work with the old config disc. New config disc will come soon. Change settings before programming the chip for now.
* GameID patching works more like in yaosm 2.0 which I hope will fix the problem with original AR discs. Please try.
